We are pleased to announce the upcoming 7th Virginia Immigrant Advocates Summit. For the past six years, the Immigrant Advocates Summit has brought together advocates from across the state to learn about, discuses and move forward on issues impacting immigrant communities residing in Virginia. The year’s tumultuous presidential race and recent U.S. Supreme Court deadlocked decision on the Obama administration’s deferred action programs, DAPA and Extended DACA, illustrate how the stakes for immigrant communities could not be higher. It is imperative to continue with our collective efforts as we push forward in defense of and support for the rights of hard working immigrants and their families living and working in the Commonwealth.
