Joining in Justice draws New York City's most powerful, influential leaders in the legal, business and entertainment communities. Media Sponsored by Manhattan magazine, guests will celebrate an inspired evening of social philanthropy benefiting The Door's Legal Services Center. This intimate evening provides a unique setting for engaging with leaders focused on some of the most critical issues confronting New York City youth, including immigration, homelessness and foster care. Our Event Co-Chairs are Karen Bray (Greenberg Traurig LLP), Mónica de la Torre, Elizabeth Jordan, Harlene Katzman (Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP), Hih Song Kim (Colgate-Palmolive Company), and Maureen Schad (Chadbourne & Parke LLP). Honorees include the firm of Proskauer Rose LLP for its leadership in providing pro bono services to undocumented and immigrant youth and New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito will accept an award for her work to ensure that every child in immigration court has access to an attorney and is provided safety and well-being after fleeing violence in Central America. A former youth client will share a success story.
