This training will highlight the different types of public benefits for which an applicant may be eligible based on what immigration relief she is applying to receive as well as the stage in the immigration application process, practical tips for attorneys at all stages of their careers on effective advocacy for public benefits access for immigrants, and an overview of administrative actions to compel city, state or county compliance with the laws surrounding eligibility.
