This training will cover options for reporting trafficking crimes to law enforcement; the process by which Continued Presence is secured; and establishing client cooperation for purposes of T nonimmigrant status (the “T visa”). The training will include practical guidance on preparing clients for meetings with law enforcement and best practices for communicating with investigators and prosecutors. The training will be conducted by Melissa Brennan, Esq. of Sanctuary for Families.
