This training program is for volunteers interested in visiting and extending a hand in friendship to people in immigration detention. We are conducting workshops for potential visitation and pen pal volunteers, who will have opportunities to begin communicating with individuals in detention centers in both Virginia and Maryland, on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:30 pm to 8pm, and Saturday, September 28th from 10am to 11:30 am.
