Cooley's Palo Alto office will host a training on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) - a special form of immigration relief for undocumented children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Attorneys from Legal Aid of San Mateo County and Legal Services for Children will present the training on how to assist young people who are the subjects of guardianship proceedings and in need of legal assistance to apply for legal immigration status. Lunch will be provided.
