The Advocates for Human Rights
Of all the countries in the world where homosexuality is illegal, half of those countries are in Africa. In Uganda, homosexuality is punishable by imprisonment, and in some cases, imprisonment for life. Attend a CLE at which two experts - The Advocates' staff attorney Amy Bergquist and Mark Kiyimba, a Unitarian Universalist pastor based in Uganda - will discuss the increasing human rights violation against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons in Africa and explore potential solutions.
- CLE Credit Comments: 1 Standard CLE credit will be applied.
