This training will provide an overview of the US Refugee Program and how to access it overseas and be processed to enter the United States as a refugee. It will also cover the roles of the Overseas Processing Entities (OPEs), the Refugee Processing Center in Roslyn, Virginia (RPC), and the Worldwide Refugee Access Processing System (WRAPS). In addition, this training will discuss the agencies that have contracts, with the U.S. Department of State, to resettle refugees. The training will be conducted by Jacquelyn Mize-Baker, Director for Refugee Processing for the International Rescue Committee.
