NWIRP presents this free training designed for individuals who serve or work with the immigrant community and who want to get basic information about the immigration system, immigration enforcement and how immigration issues affect the community.

Basic immigration topics to be addressed include:
- What barriers prevent immigrants from accessing services?
- What happens when people are detained?
- What protections are available to immigrant victims of crime and survivors of
domestic violence?
- What resources are available in the community to help?
