Fundamentals of Immigration Benefits Law Practice - Workshops with the Experts

Friday September 25 , 2009

The conference program is designed for attorneys who are new to the complex specialty of immigration benefits law. This unique conference features two distinct components:

Substantive Sessions: Prior to the conference, participants will access five pre-recorded webinars covering the basics of substantive immigration benefits law: General Overview, Nonimmigrant Visas, Employment-Based Immigrant Visas, Family-Based Immigrant Visas, and Naturalization. We encourage you to register early to ensure that you have adequate time to view each webinar before the live workshop sessions.

Live Workshop Sessions: On September 25, 2009, we will present a series of six live "how-to" workshop sessions. Attend these sessions in-person at the AILA National office (space is limited) or from the convenience of your home or office via webcast-either way, they are live and interactive! Each workshop will feature a detailed hypothetical fact pattern designed to reflect real-life situations commonly encountered in your daily immigration practice. The sessions will be led by experienced faculty who will show you how to prepare visa application and petition packages, offer tips based on years of experience, and give you proven strategies for working with the many government agencies and regulatory bodies that oversee and enforce immigration benefits law and policy.
