Despite its name, lawful permanent resident status is not necessarily permanent. An LPR may "abandon" his or her status. This webinar will explain how that might happen, and in what circumstances that is most likely to be an issue. Panelists CLINIC attorneys Kristina Karpinski and Jennie Guilfoyle will explain how and by whom findings of abandonment are made; which factors are relevant in findings of abandonment of status; and give tips on how to advise clients so that they don't unwittingly abandon their LPR status.
