Basics of Family-Based Immigration (Part 1)

CLINIC Attorneys Charles Wheeler and Peggy Gleason will describe the basic concepts of family-based immigration in a two part course. Part 1 will cover an overview of terms, immediate relatives, the family preference categories, derivatives, and the use of the Visa Bulletin. Sources of law and documentation for family relationships will also be discussed.

This course, and Part 2 on July 1, are for beginning practitioners, and for those who want more information before attending a CLINIC family-based immigration training.
