This training will provide an overview of recent federal legislation that impacts our immigration system. Pending legislation will be addressed including proposals for just and humane immigration reform, as well as policy proposals that are currently under review by the Obama Administration and the 111th Congress. Participants will also learn about means to engage in advocacy on these proposals. This training will be conducted by Frances Liu and Gabriela Villareal of the NYIC.

A fee will be charged for this training.
In case of economic hardship, fee waiver or reduction may be available upon request.
