This webinar is designed to teach practitioners how to effectively defend permanent residents charged with being removable. Topics include the differing burdens of proof for admissibility, deportability, and applications for relief, defenses against the allegations in the Notice to Appear, the eligibility requirements for cancellation of removal, 212(h) waivers, 212(c), other forms of relief, and how to work with clients to elicit the evidence needed to defend their cases.
