Night of 1,000 Conversations

The Rights Working Group is hosting the "Night of 1,000 Conversations." The Rights Working Group is a national coalition of community-based groups and national organizations dedicated to ensuring that American commitment to liberty and justice for all is fulfilled. On September 25th it is is organizing discussions about raids, detention conditions and the naturalization backlog to raise awareness about these issues leading up to the November 2008 election.

The Night of 1,000 Conversations is an opportunity to learn from each other about the harmful impact of the post 9/11 immigration policies on people in America, particularly immigrant communities.

Host a Conversation on September 25, 2008 and be a part of the Night of 1,000 Conversations. Bring your family and friends together to talk about these unjust policies and what we can do to change them. These Conversations will promote awareness and mobilize action for their Hold DHS Accountable! campaign.
