This training explains how to start and sustain a community-based immigration program. For 11 years this training has provided a crucial element in strengthening existing programs and launching scores of new ones. It is highly interactive with group exercises. This year the course manual is completely new and the curriculum is greatly updated.
Program start-up, case management, the role and different brands and types of immigration legal software, the authorized practice of law by non-attorneys through non-profit agency recognition and accreditation by the Board of Immigration Appeals, nominal fee for service, grant fundraising and performance, human resources, financial controls, group processing, intake, sample policies, and much more are covered.
