Our Approach
Immigration Advocates Network (IAN) uses innovative web-based tools to help build more effective and efficient communication and resource sharing among immigration advocates and organizations. Working together, we will improve our collective advocacy efforts by promoting information sharing, expanding communications, increasing access to quality resources and trainings and sharing the work of our partners. The Immigration Advocates Network is a truly interactive resource, which collects and disseminates key information from its partner organizations and members.
IAN's services to non-profit and public interest advocates include:
1) A library of substantive resources, including manuals, podcasts,
online videos and web-based trainings;
2) A national calendar of immigration trainings and events;
3) Immigration news and practice alerts; and
4) Listservs and announcement lists on immigration topics.
IAN's first phase will include information on family-based immigration, immigration and crimes, naturalization, raids, driver's licenses, immigration policy and capacity building. IAN also provides up-to-date practice alerts and recent immigration cases.
